over thirty years, Tristán Associates has been
a leading provider of diagnostic services. With board-certified
radiologists, state-of-the-art equipment, and convenient
locations throughout central Pennsylvania, we provide
top-quality, easily accessible, diagnostic care.
Equally
important to note is our focus on patient comfort. We
appreciate the fact that testing of any nature can be
stressful. Our doctors, technologists, and support staff
work to create a comfortable environment. Because we
have a doctor on-site, we can alleviate unnecessary
anxiety by delivering test results quickly. In fact,
in many instances, results are available before the
patient leaves the facility.

1967
Dr. Theodore Tristán and Dr. Milton Friedlander
joined the Radiology Department at Polyclinic Hospital. |

1974
An outpatient-based imaging facility on Union Deposit
Road opened to offer patients an alternative to hospitals
for radiology services. The practice consisted of six
radiologists, including Dr. Richard Fencel and Dr. Richard
Pawelski. |

1983
Dr. James Warren joined our staff of radiologists. |
|
1985
Tristán Associates opened Harrisburg Breast Diagnostic
Center. It was the first independent breast diagnostic
center in the area, and ultrasound was added to the facility.
Dr. Jinan Bahia joined our staff, specializing in mammography,
stereotactic breast biopsy, and ultrasound-guided breast
biopsy. |

1986
The Tristán Associates' professional staff is joined
by Dr. Dean Brockmole. |
|
1987
Dr. Albert R. Porter becomes part of Tristán Associates. |

1989
Tristán Associates opened the first private imaging
facility in Hershey and offered mammography, ultrasound,
fluoroscopy, and diagnostic radiology. Our staff expanded
to add the expertise of Dr. Joachim J. Huerter. |

1990
Tristán Associates welcomed Dr. Joseph Bellissimo
to the staff. |
|
1991
The Tristán Associates staff is joined by Dr. Mark
Guenin and Dr. Michael Mandell. |

1994
A new Hershey office and the Hershey Breast Diagnostic
Center were built to accommodate a growing practice. |

1997
Renovation of the Union Deposit office increased imaging
capabilities to include open MRI and spiral CT. Open MRI
was added to the Hershey office. |

1998
Dr. Brian Bloom, Dr. James Hills, and Dr. Judith Józefiak
joined Tristán Associates' professional staff.

Spring
1998
Tristán Associates helped to establish the first
free-standing, outpatient facility in the Lewisburg,
Pennsylvania area. The facility, Susquehanna Valley
Imaging, offers MRI, ultrasound, X ray, spiral CT, and
mammography. In Harrisburg, construction began on a
new Women's Imaging Center. The list of services expanded
to include:
Bone densitometry examination
Mammography
Minimally invasive breast biopsy

2000
The new Women's Imaging Center opened in February 2000.
PET imaging and the R2 ImageChecker were added to our
list of services. Dr. Stacy Castaldi and Dr. Scott Wise
joined Tristán Associates' professional staff. |

2001
Tristán Associates became the sole owner of Susquehanna
Valley Imaging, and added high field MRI examinations
to the facility's services. We continued our growth in
this region by acquiring Middleburg Diagnostic Center
and offering mammography, ultrasound, and bone densitometry
to our patients. |

2002
The Linglestown facility was added in January 2002. Our
services expanded to include nuclear medicine at our Union
Deposit Road office. High field MRI was brought to our
Hershey office. |
2003
Dr. Mark Labuski, Dr. David Wagar, and Dr. Mary Jean Gould-Earley
joined Tristán Associates' professional staff.
PET/CT fusion imaging was introduced to Central Pennsylvania
by Tristán Associates at our Union Deposit Road
facility. |
2005
One of the first 64-slice CT scanners in the country was
brought to Central Pennsylvania by Tristán Associates
at our Union Deposit Road facility. |
2006
Dr. Shervin Dean joined Tristán Associates' professional
staff. A new West Shore office on Grandview Avenue in
Camp Hill was opened to provide expanded services, replacing
the former office on the Carlisle Pike. Our northern offices
underwent a consolidation, with the services previously
offered in Middleburg and at the Silver Moon location
in Lewisburg combined in a new office at Kelly Plaza. |
